AlterYears for the Costumer offers historical, ethnic dance and specialty patterns, a vast collection of hard to find costume books, supplies and underpinnings. Our online catalog provides just a taste of what we have to offer, including our own popular AlterYears patterns .  We are just starting to put this site up, so check us frequently to see the new items you can get from us. A NOTE ABOUT RUSH ORDERS: If your need is urgent (you need the stuff in less than two weeks) call us or fax us at the numbers under "contact us" below to be sure your order gets priority handling. RUSH or EXPRESS orders placed through the website are not guaranteed special handling, though we do try.

If you choose RUSH or EXPRESS via phone or under the shipping options during checkout, there will be a surcharge of $10 added for RUSH orders or $25 for EXPRESS orders. This surcharge does not appear on the order confirmation page but is added at the time of shipping.

You don't have to be a member of the College to shop!  We'll bring an entire bookstore full of books for all types of costuming, plus patterns, hats, gloves and whatever else we can squeeze in.
