AlterYears accepts payment via check or money order in U.S. funds only, or
via MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. We regret that we cannot ship C.O.D.
Purchase orders are accepted from schools and government agencies only, and are
due upon receipt. Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 returned check
fee and may be referred to a collection agency.

Prices may change during a
catalog year. Items will be shipped at the new price or backordered until
payment is due or the order cancelled. All prices are subject to change
without notice.

All items are subject to prior
sale and back order. Orders will usually ship within four weeks via U.S.
Mail or FedEx. Back ordered items may take longer than 30 days to ship.
While we try to keep our stock current, sometimes we will have to back
order or make a special order for specific sizes. Backorders with balances
due will not be shipped until the balance due is

If you need
your merchandise quicker than four weeks,
we offer Rush or Express
shipping for an extra charge. PLEASE CALL FOR RUSH OR EXPRESS. Subject to
merchandise availability, we can do Priority Mail or 2nd day Air
FedEx (Rush) which ship out within 4 business days and
then takes two days to reach you, or Express Mail or Overnight FedEx (Express) within
the continental USA which ships the same
day if orders are received before noon. See Shipping Info pagel for
Rush/Express shipping charges.

we do not recommend rushes be sent to us by E-mail.

Refunds for less than $5.00 will
be issued as AlterYears credit memos, good on any future AlterYears
order. Refunds for over $5.00 will be paid by check.

If
we made an error , we'll do everything we can to fix it!
Write/fax/call us and get a return authorization number. We will exchange
the item for the correct one or issue a refund, including your return
shipping costs. We must have a return number to process
your refund/exchange!
If
the item is not what you wanted , certain items can be returned or
exchanged. Call/write us for a return
authorization number for your item. All
returns/exchanges must have a return authorization number or they will be
subject to a 15% restocking fee. All merchandise must be received
in original condition.
- Corset stays: may be exchanged for different
lengths if you include the return shipping costs. Stays may be returned
with authorization.
- Books: may be returned if in original
condition. They may be exchanged if you include shipping.
- Patterns: may be exchanged but not returned.
They must be in original condition. Include shipping.
- Cut items: (those ordered by the yard) may
not be returned or exchanged.
- Custom orders: may not be returned.
- Other supplies: please contact us, it varies
by item.
Wholesale Pricing: The prices in the
catalog are the same for everyone. We do offer quantity discounts on
certain items for large purchases. Please contact us for details on the
items you need. If you live in California and hold a valid California
resale license, let us know so we can send you the form for non-taxable
sales.
Distributorships: We offer
distributorships on the AlterYears line of patterns to qualified vendors.
