This category contains patterns from the 1840's and 1850's. This is the early
Victorian Era and the main fashion style element was an enlarged skirt held
out by crinoline petticoats.

 

PLM-114 Ladies Round Dresses
This pattern allows you to make a variety of dresses from the 1840's to 1852. There are three different bodices, with five interchangeable sleeves and a pelerine (capelet). All are worn with a simple skirt cartridge-pleated to the waistband. There are both front and back-opening variations for the bodice, and they range from fairly easy to quite complex, depending on the style you choose.
