They provide an excellent protection for lacing holes because they
encase the entire hole edge between two clenched pieces of metal.
These grommets are brass or nickel or coated nickel, not aluminum
for long-lasting use. They require the industrial setters listed
under "grommet setters" above. You can choose to buy them by the
dozen sets, or save money by buying by  the gross (144 sets).
