This corset provides the proper period silhouette to wear with fashions
for the late Renaissance/Elizabethan era. It can also be worn for fashions
through the mid-17th century. This tabbed version is recommended for
those who will be wearing Elizabethan garb for an extended period of
time since it is more comfortable than the untabbed version. The presence
of tabs does not affect the line of the garment.

This is designed to be easy to make, so construction techniques have
been simplified for modern equipment and materials.

Although corset stay lengths are shown above, AlterYears
STRONGLY recommends that you make a mock-up first, fit
it to yourself, adjust for length and then measure for your stays.
People vary just as much up and down as they do around, so
making a mock-up will ensure that your corset fits you!
